Senior Learning & Development Manager
Ellenton, Florida - E-Verify | Full Time Human Resources & Administration — Human ResourcesThe Senior Learning and Development Manager develops, implements, and administers development and training programs for Feld Entertainment associates. The manager also acts as liaison and advisor to the organization's leadership and facilitates initiatives across the organization ensuring alignment with this company’s mission and vision.
Essential Functions
- Designs and creates leadership development and training programs based on the needs assessment for training and staff development to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving the goals and objectives of the company.
- Work with management to create and implement succession planning throughout their respective departments.
- Assesses, recommends, creates, and implements leadership development processes, tools, resources, and solutions.
- Develops learning activities, audio-visual materials, instructor guides and lesson plans.
- Utilizes expert facilitation skills in conducting leadership and professional development programs for all Associates across the organization both in-person and remote.
- Develops course materials both original and off the shelf. Enhance and maintain the Feld Leadership Academy. Reviews evaluations of training courses, objectives, and accomplishments. Assesses training effectiveness in terms of employee accomplishments and performance.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends in leadership development and training. Identifies and incorporates best practices for training program plans.
- Establish, execute, and monitor the rollout of leadership development and training programs as required.
- Research and execute legally required training programs throughout the organization.
- Collaborate with internal and external subject matter / content experts, business partners and vendors to create and design new content, tools and learning solutions. Responsible for day-to-day technical and operational administration of Feld's Learning Management System.
- Maintain the Company’s online learning system. Track Associates training and development progress.
- Assist with the Company’s Orientation Program for new Associates. Trains employees on HR issues and practices. Presents course materials.
- Consults with management on performance, organizational and leadership matters. Conducts needs assessments to determine strategies for enhancing employee job performance and overall company performance.
- Bachelor's degree. 7+ years of experience in organizational development including 3 years of leading an organizational development program.
- Master’s degree in training and development or organizational development, preferred.
- Certified Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential, preferred.
- Experience designing and implementing effective training and development programs.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods; familiar with eLearning tools.
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven effective management skills.
