Data Engineer
Ellenton, Florida - E-Verify | Full Time Financial Planning & Analysis — IT OperationsThe Data Engineer plays a critical role in implementing and managing our Data Fabric, overseeing data governance (including Osana), handling middleware (primarily Celigo), and supporting our business intelligence platform (Domo). This role will begin as a hands-on engineering position focusing on building, integrating, and managing our data infrastructure across the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience with data pipelines, governance, integration, and business intelligence.
Over time, this role will mature into a Data Architect role, owning the strategic design of our data architecture across a complex system of ERP, HRIS, e-commerce, supply chain, and homegrown solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines across our ERP (NetSuite), HRIS (UKG), e-commerce (Shopify), supply chain, and live event platforms.
- Integrate and automate data workflows using Celigo middleware, ensuring real-time data synchronization across systems.
- Implement and enforce data governance policies using Osana, ensuring compliance, security, and data quality across all platforms.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and support Domo dashboards and reports that provide real-time insights and analytics.
- Manage and monitor the health, performance, and scalability of our data infrastructure on Azure.
- Implement and manage data governance practices, ensuring proper data access controls, privacy policies, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop integration workflows across multiple platforms using Celigo to ensure seamless data transfer between ERP, HR, supply chain, e-commerce, and other systems.
- Support the automation of data workflows, ensuring data is accurate and up to date across all critical systems.
- Work with business users to support reporting needs and build complex data models within Domo to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity in reporting across multiple business units (finance, HR, supply chain, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or data management roles.
- Hands-on experience with data integration tools like Celigo, or similar middleware solutions.
- Strong working knowledge of Azure cloud services, including data storage, databases, and data orchestration tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory).
- Experience with data governance tools and frameworks (e.g., Osana) and implementing data security and privacy policies.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, or other programming languages for data processing and manipulation.
- Experience with BI platforms (e.g., Domo, Power BI, Tableau) and building dashboards, reports, and data models.
- Solid understanding of ERP systems (NetSuite experience preferred), HRIS systems (UKG), and e-commerce platforms (Shopify).
- Strong understanding of data architecture and experience with Data Fabric design.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools and practices.
- Experience working in live events or retail environments, especially with Point of Sale (POS) data.
- Experience with supply chain and warehouse management systems.
