Paint Specialist

Under the Direct Supervision of the Paint Shop Director engage in processing components and parts such as the preparation, repairs, and refinishing of fiberglass Monster Jam truck bodies. Repair, restore, refurbish or replacement of fiberglass panels,
components or other subtracts. Proficient in automotive painting, masking, and spraying techniques. Knowledgeable in the
mediums that apply to automotive such as paint, epoxy, clear coats, fiberglass, auto body plastic fillers polyester putties
etc.
Essential Functions
  • Preparation of new raw fiberglass body panels and components. Removal of damaged body parts and components. Grind, sand, drill buff, and/or prime new, refurbished, or repaired surfaces of Monster Jam Bodies to complete outer and inner shells. Ability to spray with various mediums. Basic knowledge of color theory.
  • Pre-align and assemble components to complete the outer shell to verify fit, in preparation of paint or vinyl application. Realign and or repair body panels of structural or non- structural components.
  • Perform other duties required by management to complete the task.
  • Basic knowledge of power tools.
  • To promote professional customer service skills including appearance and interaction with all contacts inside and outside of the company.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a 2-year college or Technical school; or onto three years related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • The job may require Domestic/ International travel, so holding of the Application of Passport is mandatory.
  • Industry experience is preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Professionally licensed and certification courses will be encouraged.
  • Candidate must be able to maintain good work and cleanliness ethics. Team player, organized, task-oriented, quick learner, self–starter, and critical thinker.
  • Must wear a mask or respirator, and protective clothing, often stand for long periods of time, and also have the ability to bend, scoop, or crouch in uncomfortable positions to reach different parts of the products to be prepared or repaired.
